KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Performs minor repair on top of surface of case pieces and tables.
• Performs solid color paper/side refinishes.
• Performs small corner damages that require rebuild.
• Has general understanding of spray booth set up anduse.
• Communicates any maintenance of tools, parts and hardware needed as well as keeping repair area/shop clean.
• Help to inspect damaged products and convey them if they can be repaired to likenew conditions.
• Works with warehouse personnel on techniques of minor touch up on products during the inspection process.
• Documents andfollowsthrough on reoccurring product damages.
• Notify the Guest Response Team and DC Manager of repeated item issues.
• Complete upholstery repair including mechanism replacement.
• Assist other technicians.
• Accuratelyreportssituations that occur when repairs cannot be completed.
• Must be able to assess damages todeterminethe most efficient way to repair them.
• Identifies damage,lossor surplus of goods and materials stored in the warehouse.
• Demonstrate the Company’s Core and Growth Values in the performance of all job functions.
• Follow all OSHA and Companyestablishedsafety rules and procedures.

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES :

• High School Diploma.
• 1 year practical work experience in furniture repair including upholstery, leatherrepairsand wood refinishing
• Ableto communicate effectively.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Demonstrated working knowledge of MS Office products andability to learn in-house computer programs.
• Valid Driver’s License.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS :

• Must have close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depthperceptionand ability to adjust focus to read reports, view computer screen, etc.
• Mustbe able to hear and understand speech to interact with others.
• Must be able to speak so that others will be able to understand.
• Will remain in a seated position for extended periods of time.
• Must be able to perform repetitive tasks with both hands to include keyboarding, handwriting, office/POSequipmentand handheld equipment operation.
• Will remain on one’s feet in an upright position and move about on foot.
• Will bend, squat, stoop, kneel,crouchandreach ator above shoulder level.
• Will lift and carry objects up to50 pounds and more with assistance.
• Will work predominately ina warehouse environment; occasional work at new retail locations under construction. Potential exposure to oil, latex, and spray paint, household chemicals, biologicalodorsand household dusts; moderate office noise.
• Understand andmaintainall safe work practices and rules.
• Other duties as assigned, essential or otherwise.
