TEKsystems is actively hiring Cable Technicians for an immediate-start data center project in Memphis, TN!

We are seeking candidates with at least 1 year of hands‑on experience pulling and terminating cable. This is a great opportunity to join a growing team supporting one of the nation’s most innovative technology facilities.

At least 1 year of experience pulling and terminating cable is REQUIRED.

• Pulling and routing low-voltage cable
• Terminating Cat5, Cat6, and Cat6A cable
• Terminating fiber optic cable
• Mounting security cameras and low-voltage devices
• Working in structured cabling, telecommunications, electrical, or construction environments
• Using basic hand tools safely and effectively

• Pull and route low-voltage cabling throughout the facility
• Terminate Cat6, Cat6A, and fiber optic cables
• Assist with structured cabling installations and fiber infrastructure
• Mount cameras and other low-voltage devices
• Label, organize, and support testing of installed cabling
• Follow site safety requirements and installation standards
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Support technicians and installers with project tasks as needed

• 1+ year of cable pulling AND cable termination experience
• Experience with Cat5, Cat6, Cat6A, and fiber optic cabling
• Low-voltage, telecom, electrical, or construction background preferred
• Ability to work on active construction sites
• Reliable transportation
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Strong attendance and work ethic

Overtime:
Available at 1.5x pay rate

Contract Length: 3 Months (Potential for Extension)

TEKsystems continues to win new work within this major data center environment and is building additional crews to support increasing project demand. Successful technicians will have the opportunity to be considered for future projects as new phases of work are awarded.

This is a Contract position based out of Memphis, TN.

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $22.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
