Overview

Compass Intervention Center is seeking a dynamic and talented Patient Transportation Driver. The mission is to provide superior behavioral healthcare services that patients recommend to family, friends, physicians, and purchasers. The Patient Transportation Driver provides safe transportation of patients to and from outpatient treatment and medical appointments.

Responsibilities include:

• Operate a vehicle and manage pre‑ and post‑trip vehicle inspections.
• Communicate effectively with the dispatcher and transport coordinator.
• Operate GPS devices and cell phones to navigate routes.
• Create a safe environment for clients and supervise client interactions.
• Participate as an integral member of the treatment team and support the continuing care plan.

• Must be at least 18 (21) years of age and possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Legal TN driver license with F endorsement or Commercial Driver License.
• Complete a physical examination meeting Transportation Department/Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration standards.
• Strong communication skills and ability to operate GPS and cell phone technology.
