The Patient Transportation Driver provides transportation of patients to and from outpatient treatment daily in a safe and professional manner. Also, this position is available to provide transport for patients to and from medical and needed appointments. Effective communication with dispatcher and managing pre and post-trip inspections of vehicles. Must understand and be able to operate GPS devices and cell phones.

Perform all duties as assigned by Transport Coordinator.

Key Responsibilities include:

• The Patient Transportation Driver creates a safe environment for clients, provides direct supervision of clients.

Position Requirements:

• Drivers must be at least eighteen (21) years of age.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• TN Driver License with F Endorsement or Commercial Driver License.
• Physical Examination (at least as extensive as the Department of Transportation’s Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration for Commercial Drivers).
