This position is located in Memphis, TN - We are seeking a proficient Dispatcher to join our team s role is key to coordinating the movement of freight, managing driver schedules, and ensuring timely delivery of goods while effectively communicating with customers. The ideal candidate will have a background in trucking or the intermodal industry and will be able to thrive in a fast-paced dynamic environment.

• Schedule and dispatch drivers to appropriate locations according to customer requests, specifications, or needs.
• Monitor and track the status of shipments and deliveries.
• Communicate proactively with drivers, customers, and other stakeholders regarding updates and issues.
• Maintain accurate records of dispatch activities, driver logs, and shipment details.
• Coordinate with third parties to ensure smooth operations and timely deliveries.
• Handle urgent situations and provide solutions to minimize disruptions.
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies.
• Utilize dispatch software and other tools to optimize routes and improve efficiency.
• Address customer inquiries professionally and promptly, maintaining positive relationships and high customer satisfaction.
• Collaborate with the sales team to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.
• Assist with special projects and ad-hoc reporting requests from management.
• Participate in process improvement initiatives to streamline operations and customer service.

• Education :
  Bachelor of Science in Business Administration required, with a concentration in logistics, supply chain, or international business preferred.
• Experience : 1-2 years of industry experience.

• Experience Profit Tools (transportation management system)
• Experience in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Diligence with a high degree of accuracy.

Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
