Position Overview:Responsibleforthedailyitemslistedbelowwithregardtocoordinatingtrucksanddriversforoptimalplanning;

CommunicatingwithC/S,Safety/Compliance.

Essential Job Functions :

• Responsibleforthedivisionaldriversasdirectedbythe Operations Manager
• Assistin Planningdriversforcontinuousexecutionofmoveswithoutdelaysinassignments
• Assistin Planningdriversforsuccessfulstartsforthenextday.
• Assistdriverswithanyissuesinrelationtopickupnumber,seal issues,DOTcompliance,customer issues
• Employeeisresponsibleforthetracking/tracing,rail billing,aswellasthetimelycommunicationtocustomersanddispatchteammembers
• Lastfreedaymanagement
• Requestingemptyreturnsandreservationstimelytoavoidadditionaldelaysorcostexposure
• Streetturningequipmenttominimizeadditionaldraysandmaximizeopportunitieswithavailableequipment
• Performallnecessaryreviewofinventoryonyard,loadsorempties,toplanfordeliveryorterminationofequipment.
• Pullingdriverpayforreviewdirectlywithdriversforaclearunderstandingofproductivity/improvementwherenecessary
• Reviewweeklycompanypayrollreportingwith Ops Managertoaddressanylowperformers .
• Assistincreatingacultureoftrustandcooperationwiththe
  
  OwnerOP/Company Driverstoensuretheirsuccessandthesuccessofthecompany.
• Anyissuesrelatedtodispatchmustbecommunicatedtimelytothe Operations Manager
• Anydelaysrelatedtoon-timedeliverymustbecommunicatedtimelytothecustomerservicerepresentative
• Trainingdriversontablet/mobileappsforbetterunderstandingofjobrequirementsaswellastoincreasedriverproductivity

Other Assigned Duties :

• WorkwithdriverstoensuretheyarefollowingDOTregulations
• Cohesiveefforttoensurealldriversarenotifiedofupcomingexpirationsandsafetytraining
• Communicatewithotherdivisionalteamstofindopportunitiestoutilizeallequipmentforreloadingopportunities
• Communicatedailywithdivisionalteammembersonallobjectivesforoperationstobesuccessful
• Assisttoimproveoveralldriverretention
