Warehouse Staff

Pay: $19.50 per hour during training, up to $23.25 per hour at full production, plus performance incentives

Schedule: Full-time, 1st shift

Start a warehouse career as a warehouse specialist in a large food distribution center. You select and move product, load trucks, and keep freight flowing safely through the warehouse using pallet jacks and reach trucks in multiple temperature zones.

• Select product and load trucks, moving freight between the loading dock and warehouse and within the warehouse
• Work in different areas such as dry, refrigerated, perishable, and freezer sections as needed
• Use company provided freezer gear when working in cold environments
• Review documents and record information, verifying quantity, identity, availability, and condition of product
• Drive and operate a reach truck and pallet jack to select, pull, sort, and stack product
• Hand stack product when items are off balance or in the wrong location
• Shrink wrap and label outgoing orders and remove shrink wrap from incoming orders
• Keep your work area clean and follow all safety procedures
• Handle other warehouse tasks as assigned

• At least 18 years of age
• Able to repeatedly lift 50 pounds or more and perform accurate visual inspections
• About 1 year of distribution warehouse experience, including reach truck, pallet jack, or forklift, preferred but not required
• Ability to read, write, and understand English well enough to follow work instructions and safety protocols
• Organized, detail focused, and safety conscious
• Comfort working as part of a fast paced warehouse team
