The Systems Designer I position is an entry level Designer position, responsible for learning and performing basic low voltage systems design related tasks under the direct guidance of upper level Design/ Engineering staff, as assigned by the Corporate Engineering Director or Vice President.

• Education:
  
  High School Diploma or GED
• Experience:
  
  2 years of Low Voltage Systems installation experience, and general background and/or interest in learning and applying Low Voltage systems design principles
• or
• Education:
  
  Associates Degree in Electrical Technology
• BICSII technician or NICET II certified, combined with demonstrated design aptitude preferred
• Travel: 5-10%
• Work Schedule:
  
  This position works between the hours of 7 AM and 5 PM, Monday-Friday. Overtime may be required. Ability to work a flexible schedule is necessary.

• Under direct supervision, assists in the preparation of designs for low voltage electrical system installations.
• Interacts with Engineering, Design and CAD support staff on a daily basis.
• Checks CAD-produced drawings against design input for accuracy.
• Consistently follows Faith Technologies established design standards.
• Performs other related duties as required and assigned.
