The Electrical Designer – Level 1 position is an entry-level designer responsible for learning and performing basic electrical design tasks under the direct guidance of upper-level electrical design or engineering staff, as assigned by the Corporate Engineering Manager. The ideal candidate must be proficient in the use of a PC and Microsoft Office Suite, and AutoCAD/Revit knowledge is preferred.

  Associate Degree in Electrical Technology

  High School Diploma or GED
• Experience:
  
  2 years electrical experience with knowledge of the National Electric Code (NEC) and a general background and/or interest in learning and applying electrical design principles. Experience with Auto Desk Inventor preferred
• Education:
  
  Journeyman Electricians License, combined with demonstrated design aptitude
• Travel: 0-10%
• Work Schedule:
  
  7 AM – 5 PM, Monday–Friday. Overtime may be required.

• Under direct supervision, assists in the preparation of electrical designs for power, lighting, and low voltage electrical system installations.
• Interacts with engineering, design, and CAD support staff on a daily basis.
• Checks CAD-produced drawings against design input for accuracy.
• Consistently follows Faith Technologies established design standards.
• Performs other related duties as required and assigned.
