We are looking for personal care assistants to support elderly clients as well as, physically or mentally challenged clients in their everyday lives. The fulfillment and satisfaction that comes with helping others surpasses the challenges of this job.
If you’re a compassionate, positive person who isn’t afraid to work hard, then this is a job for you. We expect you to be polite and a good communicator. Experience in housekeeping tasks and caring for the elderly or sick will make you a strong candidate.
We are looking for caregivers willing to travel up to 35 miles.
Responsibilities
Assist residents with personal care needs (such as dressing, grooming, using the bathroom, bathing/showering, walking/transferring)Medication administration (following medication training class and nurse delegation under the supervision of the Nurse Manager)Assist with resident meals, including serving, dining room setup/clean upProvide light housekeeping assistance (dusting, taking out garbage, laundry, making beds, vacuuming)Answer resident call lights promptly and assists as neededPromote teamwork and have a positive attitudeEnjoy providing residents with outstanding customer serviceProvide emotional supportInform physicians or supervisors about uncommon eventsAct quickly and responsibly in cases of emergencySkills
Proven experience as personal care assistantCommitted to health & safetyAble to do housework and cookingWell-organized and reliableExcellent communication and people skillsPositive and compassionate attitudeCPR certifiedJob Types: Full-time, Part-time
Salary: $17.00 - $25.00 per hour

Requirements
Experience:
At least one (1) year of caregiving experience.and/ OR
License/Certification:
CNAand / or
Wisconsin CBRF Standard Precautions Certification (Preferred)Wisconsin CBRF First Aid and Choking Certification (Preferred)Wisconsin CBRF Fire Safety Certification (Preferred)Wisconsin CBRF Medication Administration Certification (Preferred)Requirement:
