We are seeking a senior, designer-level IBM i engineer to provide technical leadership for enterprise IBM Power and IBM i environments supporting mission-critical ERP systems. This role focuses on engineering, modernization, automation, and platform stability
—not day-to-day operations.

• Lead and design IBM Power & IBM i OS environments (HMC, VIOS, IBM DS Storage)
• Design, support, and enhance HA/DR (MIMIX or similar)
• Advance observability, monitoring, and AIOps practices
• Partner with business and IT leaders; mentor team members
• Support patching, upgrades, and on-call rotations as needed

• 5+ years IBM i / IBM Power experience (10+ preferred)
• Strong expertise in HMC, VIOS, MIMIX, CL scripting
• Engineering mindset with enterprise ERP experience
• Experience with automation, platform security, and compliance
• Strong communication and leadership skills

Nice to Have: Fortra tools experience, AIOps initiatives, security automation, Bachelor’s degree

Hybrid schedule: 3 days onsite / 2 days remote
