• Manage the day-to-day operation, maintenance, and performance tuning of on-prem SQL Server instances and databases
• Install, configure, and patch SQL Server environments, including managing SQL Server Agent jobs
• Maintain backup and recovery strategies to ensure data integrity and availability
• Diagnose and resolve database-related issues while providing support to application teams and vendors
• Create, develop, and review physical database models to ensure compliance with standards and guidelines

• High school diploma or GED
• 1-3 years of experience in Information Technology
• Strong understanding of SQL Server Database Administration
• Proficiency in T-SQL, Python, and/or Power Shell is preferred
• Familiarity with cloud database concepts, particularly Google Cloud SQL

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
• 3 to 5+ years of experience in SQL Server Database Administration
• Experience with SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) and SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS)
• Knowledge of performance tuning and monitoring tools like Solar Winds DPA
• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles and other database platforms such as MySQL
