The Technical Program Manager (TPM) will support efforts crossing all divisions of FTI. TPM will focus on initiatives intended to meet FTI’s business goals. A successful technical program manager must develop and execute programs that support business strategy, relying on strong planning and strategic thinking skills. The TPM will be part of a tightly knit group of Engineers, Designers, QA, and other Product or Project managers, Operations, Procurement, etc.,
and will be responsible for the execution and delivery of new product/functionality launches. This position typically has indirect supervision of technical support staff, provides day‑to‑day work direction, and participates in formal performance evaluations.
The Technical Program Manager will work closely with cross‑functional Leadership Teams to ensure that programs have proper resource allocation, develop timelines, and manage project budgets, communicate team’s progress and status; and execute projects to meet agreed‑upon timelines, cost, and quality targets. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successfully managing projects leveraging project management industry standard tools and methodologies from initial design through support of manufacturing and construction in dynamic manufacturing and construction environments.
The ideal candidate must have experience in leading, motivating, and managing technically based cross‑functional teams in accomplishing projects with notable impact(s) on company objectives.
Education: Bachelor’s in Business Administration, Electrical Engineering or other related fields required with Project Management Professional (PMP) certification. MBA, Program Management Professional (PMP) and additional technical certifications, a plus. Certified Project Management Professional (PMP). Lean Six Sigma certification or experience preferred. Change management certification or experience preferred.
Experience: Minimum of 20 years of demonstrated Project Management experience. Experience with stage‑gate Product Development Process (PDP), Product Lifecycle Management, and Solution Delivery Process (SDP) preferred.
- Recent experience managing large projects with high complexity; multiple projects and programs.
- Management of large project teams consisting of a wide array of resource skill sets across multiple locations.
- Previous experience managing / controlling project budgets greater than $5M.
- Strong stakeholder management skills with experience interacting with Executive Leadership.
- Strong analytical, communication and stakeholder management skills with ability to develop executive level communications.

Work ScheduleThis position works between the hours of 7 AM and 5 PM, Monday‑Friday. However, work may be performed at any time on any day of the week to meet business needs.

- Partners with multi‑departmental leadership and other stakeholders to locate opportunities, develop and prioritize projects according to relevant measurement criteria.
- Oversees all aspects of assigned programs throughout project life cycles to ensure completion within the defined scope, quality, time and cost constraints.
- Ensures accurate allocations of resources throughout the program.
