In the Advanced Manufacturing Group, your role as Virtual Design & Construction (VDC) Lead will be to manage and optimize our digital delivery processes in the Advanced Manufacturing sector. This site‑based role with flexible home office location in the U.S. requires you to lead VDC/BIM/Digital Delivery management and align technologies with internal and client goals. You will define digital delivery scope for project estimates, coordinate technical setups, deliver model outputs, and maintain the Common Data Environment (Autodesk Construction Cloud) from design to construction.

In this key role you will provide VDC/BIM/Digital Delivery management and leadership by aligning technologies with internal and client goals; define digital delivery scope for project estimates; coordinate project technical setup and model deliverables; create and implement Design and Construction BIM Execution Plans for EPCM; integrate VDC tasks including 3D logistics, safety planning, 4D scheduling and 5D cost and quantity take‑offs;

manage the use of the Common Data Environment (Autodesk Construction Cloud) from design to construction; kick‑off, manage and track progress on Clash Detection for Design Teams and Trade Partners; lead clash resolution meetings; serve as BIM Subject Matter Expert on projects in design and construction; coordinate laser‑scan data integration and facilitate Scan‑to‑BIM efforts; manage model redline and as‑built processes; verify construction install with model‑based practices;

create project processes; lead mobile device training for field employees; facilitate reality capture and progress reporting for remote team members; act as technology lead and provide field technical troubleshooting, software, model viewing, and mobile device support; consult during business development during proposals and estimates; collaborate with clients, representatives, and contractors; manage trade partner modeling efforts; develop technical training materials; recruit, manage, and mentor employees;

enhance team expertise; and coordinate on‑site VDC activities with field operations.

• At least 7 years of experience in VDC/BIM roles within the construction industry
• Strong understanding of BIM technologies and their application in manufacturing environments in Design and Construction
• Proficiency in BIM software (e.g., Revit, Navisworks, Revizto) and Autodesk Construction Cloud
• Experience with laser scanning and point cloud data management
• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem‑solving skills
• Proven track record of onsite leadership of VDC activities
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast‑paced environment on a project site and virtually
• Experience in developing and implementing BIM execution plans
• Strong understanding of construction processes and MEP systems
• Willingness to work on site at a project near Baton Rouge, LA

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field
