Principal IC SoC Integration and Design Engineer

Broadcom's ASIC Product Division is seeking experienced professionals for SoC and IP development programs, focusing on advanced AI and storage chip technologies. This role offers the chance to innovate and design cutting-edge products within a high-performance design team.

Responsibilities:

• Define overall SoC architecture and integrate IP components.
• Conduct detailed design analysis to ensure quality using advanced tools.
• Lead a team in simulation, synthesis, formal verification, and validation of designs.
• Collaborate with internal and external teams to ensure customer success.
• Consult with layout and DFT engineers to optimize area, performance, and yield.
• Generate collateral to support SoC releases, including design specifications.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (EE, CE, or CS preferred) with 12+ years of experience; or a Master's degree in Engineering with 10+ years of experience.
• Legal authorization to work in the US without company-sponsored immigration support.

Skills:

• Experience with SoC architecture using AMBA interconnect and various IO interfaces.
• Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills, including cloud-based documentation.
• Ability to analyze complex trade-offs and make data-driven decisions.
• Expertise in HDL languages Verilog/VHDL and System Verilog.
• Strong understanding of physical implementation and timing closure with process variation.
