Our client, a leading organization in healthcare distribution, is seeking a Sourcing Manager to join their team. As a Sourcing Manager, you will be part of the procurement department supporting strategic sourcing and supplier management initiatives. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong negotiation skills, analytical thinking, and a proactive approach, which will align successfully in the organization.

Location: Mendota Heights, MN- open to remote
Pay Range:$45/hr
Contract to hire
- Develop and implement strategic sourcing plans for private label healthcare products, focusing on cost, quality, and supply chain efficiency.
- Lead cost modeling and profitability analysis to identify opportunities for cost reduction and value optimization.
- Conduct competitive bidding processes to select the best suppliers based on quality, price, delivery, and service performance.
- Collaborate with internal teams such as marketing, quality assurance, regulatory affairs, supply chain, and finance to meet product specifications and standards.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers and monitor their performance using KPIs and SLAs to ensure compliance and operational excellence.
- Bachelor's degree in business, Supply Chain Management, Healthcare Administration, or a related field;
Master’s degree preferred. - Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in sourcing, procurement, or supply chain management, preferably in healthcare, medical device, or pharmaceutical industries.
- At least 3 years of experience managing private label categories with a proven track record in vendor negotiations, cost management, and product development.
- Strong knowledge of cost modeling techniques and competitive sourcing processes such as RFP, RFQ, and RFIs.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and analytical skills, with proficiency in sourcing tools, ERP systems, and MS Office Suite.
