Base pay range: $17.00/hr - $20.00/hr

Responsibilities
  • Open and close the store in the absence of store management, including all required systems startup, cash handling, and ensuring floor and stockroom readiness.
  • Manage product returns, order voids, customer refunds, cash drops to safe, and provide change as requested to cash registers.
  • Model and deliver a distinctive and delightful customer experience, greeting customers, resolving issues, and sharing best practices.
  • Assist with and coach other team members on warehouse and vendor ordering processes, including opening back door for vendor deliveries.
  • Register all sales with accurate recording of scanning errors, price adjustments, and voids.
  • Assist in reviewing order exceptions, reverse logistics, evaluating and developing displays, and completing resets and revisions.
  • Maintain accurate inventory counts, ensure correct stock placement, and execute stock rotation.
  • Handle basic department pricing, ensure signage accuracy, and comply with local regulations.
  • Assist with bookkeeping activities, cash reports, ledgers, and bill payments as needed.
  • Help maintain store appearance, request repairs, and maintain a clean, orderly environment.
  • Comply with state and local laws regarding regulated products and ensure bag checks of team members.
  • Complete special assignments and other tasks as assigned.
Training & Personal Development
  • Attend training and complete required PPLs requested by the manager.
Communications
  • Serve as a liaison between management and non-management team members, communicating tasks when management is absent.
  • Report disciplinary issues and customer complaints to management.
Basic Qualifications
  • One year of prior leadership, supervisory, or retail key holder work experience.
  • Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English (except in Puerto Rico).
Preferred Qualifications
  • Knowledge of store inventory control.
  • Qualified for employment despite arrest and conviction records.
  • Valid PTCB certification or pharmacy license as required by state.
