Overall responsibility for driving the growth of the Service Organization. Aligns the sales organization's objectives with firm business strategy through active participation in corporate strategic planning, sales strategy development and forecasting, sales resource planning, and budgeting.

- Develop annual sales goals
- Design & implement comp plans
- Develop sales and marketing budget (key trade shows, marketing spend, website development, etc.)
- Communicate and build relationships with key customers
- Develop and implement key sales metrics and reports to drive growth and profitability
- Regular communication and strategy discussions with sales segment leadership
- Meets assigned targets for profitable sales volume, market share, and other key financial performance objectives
- Contract review and deal negotiation
- Driving sales training, development of sales talent, and retention of sales team members
- Performance management of sales team members
- Recruit, select, hire key sales leaders
- Serve as a member of the executive team to drive company strategy
- Understanding of business operations, financials, and support functions
- Communicate with internal and external customers in a professional manner
BA, BS, MBA; or equivalent combination of education and experience. PE or NICET III or IV preferred.
Experience, Knowledge, Skill RequirementsTen plus years of senior level management experience required, preferably in a fire protection company, with both service and construction revenue streams. Ability to provide leadership to a diverse group of people. Experience formulating strategies, goals, objectives, standards and procedures. Knowledge of negotiation and administration of contracts and legal aspects of a corporation. Working knowledge and experience developing budgets and using cost control techniques.
Experience managing and evaluating technical and supervisory personnel in a fire protection environment.
Must have the ability to read, write and communicate in English with employees, customers and board or directors.
Systems and Software SkillsAbility to operate a computer and use Microsoft Office required.
Other QualificationsValid driver's license with acceptable driving record required. Must be able to comply with SFNC's Drug and Alcohol policy and Background screening requirements, which may also include customer specific requirements based on contractual agreement.
