Community Health Partnership of Illinois is a non-profit organization providing primary health care to migrant farm workers and underserved populations in northern and central Illinois. We specialize in primary, preventive medical, dental, and behavioral health services, focusing on delivering quality, culturally responsive care.

We are seeking a dedicated Certified Medical Assistant to support physicians and healthcare professionals in various settings. The ideal candidate will have a valid Medical Assistant certification, strong communication and organizational skills, and experience in a medical environment. Professionalism, compassion, attention to detail, multitasking ability, and the capacity to work under pressure are essential.

Responsibilities
  • Assist healthcare professionals with patient examinations and procedures
  • Prepare and maintain medical supplies and equipment
  • Take patient medical histories and vital signs
  • Perform routine laboratory tests and procedures
  • Administer medications as directed
  • Schedule appointments and manage medical records
  • Provide patient education and support
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment
  • Follow healthcare regulations and protocols
Requirements
  • Certified Medical Assistant credential from an accredited program
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Proficiency in medical terminology and computer skills
  • Knowledge of medical laws and ethics
  • CPR certification

Bilingual Spanish/English preferred.
