Responsibilities
  • Embrace a culture of safety and maintain strict compliance with PPE and housekeeping standards.
  • Manage a plastic extrusion line to ensure finished goods meet quality specifications that meet customer needs.
  • Utilize standard operating procedures to keep the production line running within specifications.
  • Lead line tooling changes, start‑ups, and shutdowns.
  • Accurately complete shift production and reporting paperwork.
  • Conduct regular product sampling to ensure consistent quality.
  • Assist with the preventive maintenance program.
  • Meet or exceed standard production efficiencies on all production lines.
  • Maintain and increase ability to operate various production lines through certifications.
  • Troubleshoot process and mechanical problems and perform repairs and adjustments to meet production needs.
  • Perform tooling changeovers safely and efficiently.
  • Practice continuous improvement, including line and facility housekeeping.
Job Skills & Knowledge
  • Mechanical troubleshooting and repair abilities.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Analytical thinking and problem‑solving skills.
  • Ability to operate heavy machinery, e.g., forklifts, safely.
  • Reading and writing skills.
  • Self‑motivated.
Educational Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
Preferred Experience
  • Previous manufacturing machine operation or extrusion experience.
Physical Requirements
  • Perform physical labor for extended periods in fluctuating temperatures.
  • Full range of body motion, including twisting, bending, reaching, squatting, and mounting/dismounting industrial equipment and vehicles.
  • Stand and be mobile throughout a 12‑hour shift.
  • Use hands, arms, and legs to physically handle and transport finished goods.

Hourly Pay

$22.50 / hour (individual pay may vary by location, shift, and relevant experience or training).
