Accounting Manager

Our client, a private investment office managing multi-generational family assets and philanthropy, is seeking an Accounting Manager to join its team.

The position is on-site in Menlo Park, CA, Monday through Friday.

This role offers exposure to complex accounting operations and the opportunity to contribute to process improvements and best practices.

• Manage day-to-day accounting activities, including cash receipts, disbursements, and proper classification
• Prepare financial statements and supporting work papers for multiple entities
• Perform month-end reconciliations of cash and general ledger accounts
• Coordinate with tax teams by providing schedules and documentation
• Identify and implement improvements to accounting systems, controls, and processes
• Maintain organized accounting records and ensure compliance with internal policies

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field; CPA preferred
• 4–5 years of relevant accounting experience
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP and ability to manage large volumes of transactional data
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and accounting software
• Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
