Position: Part - time / Seasonal Tax Accountant

We’re looking for an experienced tax preparer to join our team on a part-time or seasonal basis, with the goal of a long-term relationship or returning each season.  Pay and schedule
Compensation based on experience
Flexible schedule options available
Candidate should be available during Peak season (January through April 15) and (Late August through October.)
During peak season ability to work 40+ hours per week, including Saturdays, preferred

What you’ll do
Gather and organize client data
Prepare and review federal and state returns for individuals and entities
Identify tax-saving opportunities within the law
Prepare tax projections and recommend strategies for each client
Prepare and interpret financial statements
Keep up to date on current federal and state tax law changes
What we’re looking for
~4+ years of tax preparation experience, and/or including individual, LLC, Corporations, and multi-state returns
~ Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field preferred
~

Experience with Pro System fx Tax and Pro System fx Engagement is a plus
~ Ability to manage multiple deadlines and work independently with minimal supervision
~ Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills
~ Integrity, professionalism, and a collaborative approach
