Base Salary:
Around $230K (DOE) + bonus. This role is part of a specialist corporate & securities boutique embedded in the startup & venture capital ecosystem.
The Firm (in a nutshell):
- High-growth private tech and life sciences companies
- Founders and C‑suite executives
- Angel, seed, venture and secondary investment funds
- Institutional and individual investors in primary and secondary transactions
Work spans the full company lifecycle: formation → financings → strategic transactions / exits → secondary sales and investor liquidity. Small partner‑led teams, very hands‑on exposure, and genuine client contact from day one.
Role focus:
- Venture financings (seed through late‑stage preferred rounds)
- M&A (buy‑side and sell‑side for private companies and investors)
- Secondary transactions (private company stock and fund interests)
- General corporate & securities work (governance, cap tables, equity plans, investor rights, etc.)
You’ll run deals with partner support, manage day‑to‑day client communications, and be a key point of contact for founders, funds, and executives.

Ideal Profile:
3–7+ years’ experience in corporate / emerging companies / M&A at a major firm or well‑regarded boutique.
Comfortably running:
- Preferred stock financings
- General corporate & governance matters
- Strong drafting and negotiation skills, especially in:
- M&A agreements
- Genuine interest in the venture / startup and investment fund ecosystem
- Enjoys working closely with partners, mentoring juniors and owning client relationships
