KH- Live-Out Nanny - Menlo Park, CA

Overview

A lovely family in Menlo Park, CA is looking for a full-time live-out nanny for their 1.5-year-old to start when a great fit is found. The schedule will be Monday through Friday either 8:30am-5pm or 9am-5:30pm. Flexibility to stay late with notice or do weekend babysitting once a month would be appreciated though not required. The role will be primarily child focused, however, as the child ages some assistance with organizing and household projects would be about 20% of the role.

• Create a warm, nurturing environment while maintaining appropriate boundaries for active and bright toddler
• Plan and facilitate developmentally appropriate activities and educational experiences; someone who can really educate and be focused on child development and upcoming milestones
• Research and coordinate local adventures and outings for enrichment
• Provide transportation to activities (excellent driving skills required)
• Coordinate schedules, manage appointments
• Meal preparation for child
• Child laundry
• Child related organizing and restocking of items

• Proactive personality is super important! The parents are looking for a nanny that comes to them with ideas,
• Critical thinking skills
• Strong in time management and task management. For example, time laundry during nap etc.
• Interested in and passionate about child development, someone who is aware of different philosophies would be a great fit as the family really values this knowledge
• Able to navigate work from home parent and grandparents that visit often
• Open to traveling with the family (not required)

• Must already be local to the Bay Area
• Driver's license and clean driving record; mileage will be reimbursed according to IRS rate
• Trustline certified, or willing to certify
• Comfortable supervising a child in the water/getting in the water with a child
• Legal to work in the US

• $45-50 per hour
