About the Team + RoleThe Banking team’s mission is to design best‑in‑class financial experiences that empower users to manage and move their money with confidence. We work closely with product, engineering, content design, and research to deliver accessible, user‑focused, and scalable solutions. As a Senior Product Designer you’ll shape the visual and interaction design of Robinhood’s Gold Card and banking products, building systems from zero to one while maintaining a cohesive design identity.
This role is based in our Bellevue, WA;
Menlo Park, CA; and New York, NY offices, with in‑person attendance expected at least three days per week.
- Drive end‑to‑end design of key features across our banking tools and experiences.
- Create visually compelling, cohesive designs that elevate our user experience.
- Collaborate closely with cross‑functional partners including Product, Engineering, Content, and Research.
- Contribute to and evolve our design system for banking products.
- Help set the standard for design craft and product excellence across the team.
- 5+ years of experience as a product designer with a strong visual design portfolio.
- Demonstrated success designing consumer‑facing products, ideally in fintech or adjacent spaces.
- Experience taking products from concept to launch.
- Strong systems thinking and the ability to build and maintain scalable design systems.

Zone 1 (Menlo Park, CA; New York, NY; Bellevue, WA; Washington, DC): $161,500—$190,000 USD
Zone 2 (Denver, CO; Westlake, TX; Chicago, IL): $141,950—$167,000 USD
Zone 3 (Lake Mary, FL; Clearwater, FL; Gainesville, FL): $125,800—$148,000 USD
In addition to the base pay range listed above, this role is also eligible for bonus opportunities, equity, and benefits.
