Overview
Studio Bloom is a full-service interior design studio based in Menlo Park. This is an onsite role based in Menlo Park, CA with the ability to work in-office and travel to project site meetings as required. We are seeking a highly creative, self-motivated, and goal-oriented Junior Interior Designer with impeccable attention to detail to join a collaborative and passionate firm. You will work closely with a small design team on all aspects of design and project management.
We are looking for someone eager to continue learning, evolving and growing as a Designer.

- Support the design and implementation of high-end residential projects from concept through completion.
- Develop detailed technical drawings and models using AutoCAD and Sketch Up.
- Contribute to the development of design concepts, including furniture and finish selections, custom furniture development, and sourcing materials such as finishes, plumbing fixtures, and decorative hardware.
- Support the preparation of client-facing materials, including drawings, mood boards, material flat lays, and visual presentations.
- Assist Senior Designers with project scopes, including prioritization, budget oversight, timelines, and scheduling.
- Maintain clear and effective internal communication and provide regular project updates.
- Collaborate and coordinate with vendors, architects, general contractors, builders, and tradespeople to ensure all design elements are executed seamlessly and according to plan.
- This is a full-time position with standard office hours of 9:00 - 5:00pm, but flexibility is required for occasional overtime to meet project deadlines.
- Reside in the San Francisco Bay Area with a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Interior Design or Interior Architecture.
- 2-3 years of residential interior design experience.
- A portfolio that showcases both your technical skills and your creative vision.
- Proficiency with a Mac, AutoCAD, Sketch Up, Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign and Photoshop), Studio, Canva and Google Workspace.
- Strong knowledge in material sourcing, specifications, custom furnishings, construction and renovations preferred.
