We are searching for highly motivated, technically competent, and mechanically inclined individuals to join our growing Upgrades team. In this position you will play a key role in building components and assemblies that make up our unique generators; primarily focused on the Upgrade of Customer Cores. You will work on applying the latest Engineering Changes and performing Planned Maintenance. You will work within our Upgrades facility in Menlo Park, collaborating with our highly talented team of technicians and engineers to bring affordable, dispatchable and clean energy to the world.

• Build components and assemblies that make up our Cores, install components and replace parts as needed to support the Upgrade Process
• Collaborate with other technicians and support teams to fix, repair, and rebuild components and assemblies focusing on manufacturability and reliability in order to meet the testing and qualification schedule of new designs
• Work with a quick-learning build team to support ongoing Customer Support activities
• Identify opportunities to improve safety, quality and productivity in the Upgrade process
• Ability to select the best course of action from a set of defined procedures/solutions and occasionally troubleshoot or fact find to resolve with oversight from senior team members

• Ability to learn quickly, be self-motivated and safety oriented
• Candidates must be able to stand for long periods of time, lift up to 50 lbs., and wear required PPE

$24 - $29 an hour

This position is onsite at our Menlo Park HQ. The salary will be adjusted to reflect local market conditions based on employee location as well as the experience of the employee. Along with the base salary, Mainspring offers pre-IPO stock options + benefits.
