As Mainspring scales production of its linear generators, supplier quality is critical to ensuring reliable, high‑volume manufacturing. As Supplier Quality Manager, you will lead the strategy and execution of supplier readiness, performance, and continuous improvement across mechanical, electrical, and complex engineered components. You will refine and drive supplier qualification, audits, and incoming quality systems in close partnership with our Contract Manufacturers, Supply Chain, and Engineering.

You will oversee the development and implementation of APQP deliverables—including PPAP, FAI, and process validation—while ensuring suppliers meet evolving technical and operational requirements. You will guide root‑cause analysis, corrective actions, and capability improvements that reduce variability and strengthen process control. We are looking for a strong communicator and leader who thrives in a fast‑paced, cross‑functional environment and can grow and mentor a high‑performing Supplier Quality team.

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Quality Management or related
• 7+ years in Supplier Quality Management, preferably customer facing and in clean energy, manufacturing or hardware organizations (industrial and/or automotive a plus)
• Proven success bringing suppliers from prototype‑support mode into stable, high‑volume production.
• Strong background in process control, APQP/PPAP, FMEA, SPC, and root‑cause analysis.
• Six Sigma, Lean, or ASQ Certification and trainings are preferred
• The position will require up to 20% travel to supplier sites
