Job Description
Note:
Onsite;
Menlo Park, CA only, will be involved in lab work so onsite is critical. First 5-6 weeks will be onsite 3 days minimum and then based on performance and training, optional to go remote with only requirement to come onsite maybe 1x a week for lab work.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field required
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP and network fundamentals.
- Familiarity with common networking technologies and devices (e.g., Switches, Routers, Firewalls, Load Balancers, DNS, and DHCP).
- 3 years of Network Engineering, Linux/Unix, and Python experience.
- Experience with Optics & Transceivers.
- Data center engineering knowledge.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Basic ability to work independently.
- Strong time management skills.
- Team player.
QA Engineer with 5 years of experience in Networking & Automation.
OverviewThe candidate should be able to understand and perform optical link-validation and have a network engineering device background. The role provides playbooks, runbooks, wikis, and documentation for support, and the individual will work alongside an engineer.
Role Responsibilities- Run link-validations across multiple optical modules.
- Perform manual testing of FW upgrade of optics.
- Co-ordinate on lab intakes for perform the optics validation.
