Financial Reporting Supervisor

Location: Palo Alto, CA (Hybrid)

Salary: $78.00 to $82.00 per hour

What you will be doing:

• Oversee the preparation, review, and consolidation of financial statements across multiple entities
• Manage quarterly EMMA filings, monthly financial reports, board materials, analyst surveys, and variance analysis
• Support preparation of IRS Form 990 and nonprofit financial reporting requirements
• Ensure financial reporting complies with GAAP, regulatory standards, and internal policies
• Provide consultative guidance to financial management on reporting issues and analysis
• Identify, document, and resolve operational and reporting challenges proactively
• Develop and implement process improvements and automation to increase efficiency and accuracy
• Collaborate with Finance and Technology teams to optimize reporting systems and tools

What you bring:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years of progressive financial reporting experience
• Experience with nonprofit accounting and IRS Form 990 preparation preferred
• Strong proficiency in advanced Excel; experience with Workday Financial and Workiva preferred
• Solid understanding of GAAP and complex, multi‑entity financial reporting
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and documentation skills
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines with accuracy and attention to detail
• Collaborative mindset with strong communication skills and a commitment to ethical standards and continuous improvement
