Job Overview:
As a financial advisor you will develop and grow your own practice, supported by branch, home‑office, and regional teams. You will partner with clients to help them achieve long‑term financial goals such as retirement, wealth building, estate strategies, and education funding. Edward Jones offers a 100‑year history and extensive training.
- Build relationships to acquire new clients through face‑to‑face and virtual sourcing strategies (including residential, business, networking, referrals, social media, and speaking engagements).
- Deeply understand clients’ needs, priorities, and concerns to create personalized, comprehensive strategies.
- Oversee branch processes to ensure a high‑quality, streamlined client experience, consistent with firm policies, regulatory requirements, and ethical guidelines.
- Engage the branch team to create, monitor, and adjust the branch business plan to increase effectiveness and achieve desired results.
- Create an engaging environment of mutual trust, respect, feedback and accountability.
- Paid training program to become a registered financial advisor.
- Salary for the first five years with opportunities for commissions, profit sharing, incentive travel.

- SIE, Series 7, Series 66 required; registrations obtained at Edward Jones during the paid study period.
- FINRA registrations required within three months; state insurance licenses required.
- Ongoing training and continuing education required to maintain licenses.
- Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred or equivalent work experience in securities/financial services.
- Experience in financial services and/or sales, or relevant registration/licensing.
- Professional or military career progression.
- Strong interest in financial services, love of learning, relationship building, critical thinking, passion for new opportunities.
