Key Responsibilities
- As an Investment Intern in Robinhood Ventures you will be a core part of our lean team. You will research, evaluate, and support investments across the Robinhood Ventures platform, with a focus on late-stage investments
- Research and sourcing
- You'll research markets and sectors that you believe we should be paying attention to, and then identify the key companies in them that Robinhood Ventures needs to meet - Investment evaluation
- You'll be a key part of the deal team for investments we evaluate. You'll own core diligence work streams like the financial model, competitive analysis, and help shape investment theses - Platform building
- You'll work with teams across Product, Operations, Marketing, Legal, and more to help build experiences in the Robinhood app to further differentiate Robinhood Ventures for both retail investors and portfolio companies
- Proven ability to work independently in lean, high-output environments, with experience collaborating across cross-functional teams
- Intellectual curiosity and a demonstrated interest in emerging technologies and the private companies driving them - you proactively form opinions on key trends and companies
- An existing network in the startup ecosystem, or the drive to build one, that can help Robinhood Ventures identify and connect with promising companies
- Currently enrolled in a full-time MBA program
- Prior experience in investment banking, private equity, or finance at a high-growth company, with fluency in financial modeling, valuation analysis, and market research; late-stage investing or venture capital experience is a plus
