Security Manager, IT Consultant
Meta is seeking a full‑time Regional Investigator to join our Global Security Threat Management Team. This broad role demands practical experience in operational and strategic investigations and effective communication with stakeholders at all levels. The Regional Investigator will resolve internal and external investigations—such as insider threat, threats against people or the company, missing persons, property crimes, fraud, and counterfeiting—across local, regional, and global contexts.

Threat Management Investigator Responsibilities- You will provide investigative expertise to support a variety of cross‑functional internal Meta clients—headquarters and regional offices—for threat assessment and investigations with the goal of supporting the safety and security of our people, assets, and reputation.
- The global presence of Meta requires the Threat Management Team to be available 24/7 to manage relationships, collect and analyse relevant information, and communicate to executives and stakeholders as needed regarding risks as they develop.
- You will work as part of a global team, oversee the development, execution, and quality control of Threat Management projects, and manage strategic investigations operations as directed.
- You will work cross‑functionally and partner closely with other Global Security and Meta internal teams.
- 8+ years of work experience in investigative disciplines.
- Practical experience in problem‑solving skills.
- Experience working with highly confidential information.
- Experience completing multiple tasks simultaneously and functioning with minimal supervision.
- Experience working in both individual and team environments.
- Proven experience in communication, engaging effectively with clients, team members, and stakeholders.
- Proven experience in problem‑solving and decision‑making skills, with the ability to think critically and perform proficiently under high‑pressure situations.
- Proven experience working with high‑profile individuals or in high‑risk environments.
- Skilled in managing sensitive high‑impact threat cases across business settings.
- Proven experience to think quickly and perform problem‑solving tasks within complex conditions.
- Proven experience to work collaboratively, with previous experience working on complex, international, large‑scale, time‑critical projects.
- High degree of knowledge of best‑in‑class applicable software/tools (e.g., social media monitoring and investigations, case management software, etc.), investigative strategies, and research methods to address threats to people and places.
- Proven experience to react to changes in a time‑critical environment to meet security needs and quickly evaluate situations.
- Background working in law enforcement, military, or corporate investigations.
