The Production Manager leads the culinary operation by baking and building delicious cakes, cupcakes, cookies, pies, and bars. This role ensures that the highest quality baked goods are produced on time, by training staff, supporting safety, and developing the culinary team in production management.

Scheduling Details
  • Shifts may begin as early as 12:00 AM to 4:00 AM

Responsibilities
  • Lead the team by motivating, training, and developing culinary staff in adherence to recipes and standard operating procedures for cakes, cookies, pies, bars, puddings, butter creams, etc.
  • Lead team in production of custom baked goods; develop and train skills in mixing, baking, and building.
  • Assign daily production to team members and ensure completion.
  • Ensure all food is prepared, handled, and stored according to all required food safety code standards.
Qualifications
  • Associate degree in Culinary, Baking, or Pastry Arts preferred
  • 2 years of leadership experience in a team environment
  • Ability to work in multiple regional locations
  • Adaptability to a flexible schedule according to business needs
  • Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license
Physical Requirements
  • Frequent walking, kneeling, bending, and reaching overhead
  • Able to stand for extended periods of time
  • Can lift, move, and carry up to 75 pounds
  • Can taste product for quality assurance (e.g., buttercream, cake, cupcake batter, cookie dough, and other recipes as assigned).
Certifications
  • Serv Safe Manager Food Handler Certification
