Title: Research Assistant

Location: Atlanta, GA (onsite)

Duration: 6 month contract

Compensation: $20.00 - 25.00/hr

Work Requirements: US Citizen, GC Holders or Authorized to Work in the U.S.

Our client is a well-known Fortune 500 company in the technology industry and is looking for a motivated Research Assistant to join their team. This position will support human behavioral experiments and contribute to the development of next-generation virtual, augmented, and mixed reality experiences. The Researcher will work closely with a diverse team of researchers and engineers, leveraging cutting-edge technology, resources, and testing facilities.

• Stage, set up, and manage equipment and lab spaces for experiments at the data collection center
• Supervise data collection, including obtaining informed consent, supervising experiment protocols, handling confidential data, and creating basic reports
• Conduct literature reviews on various research topics as needed
• Assist with recruiting and scheduling experiment participants
• Review large volumes of data for quality issues and provide feedback for quality improvements

• Bachelor's degree in psychology, cognitive science, HCI, or related fields
• 1-2 years of experience in this field or mix of experience and school
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and personal management skills
• High attention to detail
• Experience running behavioral experiments and collecting data

• Knowledge of human-computer interaction (HCI)
• Experience with data quality assessment and improvement
• Interest in virtual, augmented, and mixed reality technologies
