Synechron is seeking an experienced Golang Developer to support technology initiatives for our project. The ideal candidate will have strong system-level programming expertise, excellent problem-solving skills, and experience developing high-performance, scalable applications in a Linux environment. This role involves working closely with engineering, infrastructure, and business teams to build and enhance mission-critical financial technology platforms.

The base salary for this position will vary based on geography and other factors. In accordance with law, the base salary for this role if filled within Menlo Park, CA is $110k - $125k/year & benefits (see below).

• Design, develop, test, and maintain robust applications using Golang, C, and C++.
• Build high-performance, low-latency, and scalable backend systems.
• Participate in the architecture, design, and implementation of distributed systems.
• Optimize application performance, memory management, and system efficiency.
• Develop multithreaded and concurrent applications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver high-quality solutions.
• Troubleshoot production issues and perform root cause analysis.
• Create and maintain technical documentation and coding standards.

• 7+ years of professional software development experience.
• Extensive experience with C and C++ programming.
• Strong understanding of Data Structures, Algorithms, and Object-Oriented Programming.
• Experience with Linux/Unix environments.
• Knowledge of multithreading, concurrency, memory management, and performance tuning.
• Experience with RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
• Familiarity with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and software development best practices.
• Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills.

• Experience in financial services, banking, trading, or capital markets domain.
• Experience with low-latency or high-throughput systems.
• Knowledge of Go concurrency patterns, go routines, channels, and Go modules.
• Experience with C++11/14/17/20 standards and modern C++ development practices.
