Senior Backend Java Developer / Consultant (8–10 Years)

In-person Interview Role Summary
We are looking for a hands‑on Senior Backend Java Developer with 8 to 10 years of professional experience to design, build, and scale robust backend applications and microservices. In this role, you will power our core financial platforms by developing secure, high-performance APIs and integrating complex data pipelines in a fast‑paced enterprise environment.
Key Responsibilities- Design, develop, and deploy scalable backend services and RESTful APIs using Java and Spring Boot
. - Build, maintain, and optimize distributed microservices architecture.
- Write clean, maintainable code, manage database interactions, and ensure high backend performance and reliability.
- Integrate enterprise applications with messaging systems (such as Kafka) and distributed caching layers (such as Redis).
- Collaborate closely with product managers, system architects, and QA teams within an Agile/Scrum framework.
- Participate in thorough code reviews, enforce engineering best practices, and mentor junior developers.
- Experience: 8–10 years of professional software development experience focusing on enterprise backend systems.

Skills:
Strong proficiency in Core Java (Java 8 ), multithreading, concurrency, and object-oriented design principles. - Frameworks: Extensive, hands‑on experience building RESTful microservices using Spring Boot and the Spring ecosystem.
- Databases & Messaging: Solid relational database skills (SQL performance tuning) alongside experience with event‑driven messaging tools (e.g., Kafka, RabbitMQ).
- Dev Ops & Tooling: Familiarity with Git, Maven/Gradle, CI/CD automated deployment pipelines, and containerized cloud environments (Docker/Kubernetes).
- Methodologies: Proven track record working in Agile/Scrum delivery teams.
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
