Pay Range: $72,000.00/yr - $99,000.00/yr

Position Responsibilities
  • Resolve problems in Production as they arise, whether through the production process, parts, quality assurance, or other sources.
  • Resolve issues with vendors, approve or reject parts during construction, evaluate vendor issues and maintain schedule.
  • Coordinate Product Support, Aviation Authority, Air Safety, and Engineering personnel to resolve field issues.
  • Make minor changes and coordinate major changes through the Engineering system for FAA release.
  • Perform basic structural analysis as required to support liaison duties and general engineering effort.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Experience in the manufacture of complete aircraft.
  • Advanced understanding of aircraft structure.
  • Basic or advanced understanding of sheet metal, welding, machining, fiberglass manufacturing and assembly procedures.
  • A degree in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering.
  • Basic or advanced understanding of aircraft repair procedures (AC 43.13).
  • Advanced understanding of product fit, function, and tolerances.
  • Basic familiarity with Material Review Board duties and functions.
  • Basic structural analysis skills.
  • Superior problem‑solving skills.
  • Superior communication skills (verbal and written).
  • Acute attention to detail.
  • Ability to work with people.
  • Ability to work on multiple projects and multi‑task.
Pluses
  • Basic or advanced CAD skills are highly desirable;
    Solid Works experience preferred.
  • Basic or advanced understanding of FAA rules and regulations.
  • A Master’s in Mechanical, Structural, or Aerospace Engineering.
