Metallurgy Spectrometry Lab Technician

L.E. Jones Company L.L.C., leading manufacturer of precision valve seat inserts, is seeking candidates for a Metallurgy Spectrometry Lab Technician. This is a full-time salaried non-exempt position.

• The Tech is responsible to cover Spectrometry Lab operation including providing foundry heat formula and materials usage instruction, carrying out heat sample analysis.
• The tech will be closely working with the Materials Implementation Coordinator to cover technical and hard facing programing needs for JEJ PTA process.
• Carry out the projects related casting process control and casting quality improvement.

• Basic math practice and science fundamentals.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Good organizational skills.
• Previous foundry and/or materials joining experience is preferred.
• Knowledge of metal, casting, machining, and quality control.
• Associate's degree or some education in engineering or technology degree is preferred.
• Some overtime required.
