Join our Supply Chain team in Menomonee Falls, WI as an Associate Buyer!

• Generate/execute CPSR-compliant purchase orders based on approved requisitions, requests for proposals, bids, and other necessary documents related to purchasing supplies, equipment, services, and materials.
• Perform various tactical duties to support purchasing activities.
• Assist in negotiations, applying basic knowledge of commercial contract law, guidelines, practices, and requirements to assess, plan, and negotiate best terms and conditions to minimize risk.
• Maintain professional relationships with suppliers to resolve issues such as pricing, quality, timing, claims, and contract disputes related to service agreements.
• Understand demand/spend profiles for commodity areas and provide this information as needed.
• Keep accurate records and files of all vendor agreements and procurement records.
• Serve as the primary contact between DRS personnel and assigned suppliers.

• Associate’s degree or equivalent experience, with some background in Purchasing or Supply Chain.
• Ability to understand and adhere to laws related to procurement, contracts, and breaches.
• Basic negotiating skills or willingness to learn.
• A self-starter capable of working independently and in a team.
