We are seeking an entry-level Category Management Analyst to join our Procurement team and support the management of direct material spend. This role is designed to develop the skills needed to progress into a Category Manager II position. The ideal candidate is analytical, organized, and eager to learn strategic sourcing, supplier management, and cost optimization in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities will involve several areas including, but not limited to:

• Manage assigned inventory items and supplier relationships
• Issue purchase orders and maintain accurate ERP data
• Assist with RFQs, supplier evaluations, and sourcing activities
• Analyze spend and purchasing data to identify optimization opportunities
• Support production by addressing stock-outs, missed shipments, and supplier issues
• Recommend inventory levels, lead times, and lot sizes
• Prepare basic purchasing and performance reports
• Collaborate with internal teams and external suppliers

Candidates should have a bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain, finance, or a related field, or equivalent experience. Prior exposure to ERP systems and strong Excel skills are preferred. On-the-job training will be provided.

This position plays an important role in supporting procurement and production operations. Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills are required, along with the ability to work independently and in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
