Overview

A hybrid outpatient pharmacy coordinator position located at Froedtert Health's Integrated Service Center in Menomonee Falls, WI.

Responsibilities
  • Act as pharmacist‑in‑charge and managing pharmacist, overseeing daily pharmacy operations.
  • Provide clinical and distributive pharmacy services and supervise pharmacy team members.
  • Participate in on‑call duties, including sick call management and rotating coverage on weekends and holidays.
  • Collaborate with healthcare team to optimize drug therapy and uphold patient safety, confidentiality, and quality improvement initiatives.
  • Maintain compliance with regulatory standards from the Joint Commission, CMS, URAC, and others.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
Shift Details
  • Primary first shift: 6 a.m. – 6 p.m., Monday – Friday.
  • Occasional early mornings or late evenings based on department needs.
  • On‑call rotation every four weeks, alternating Friday–Sunday or Monday–Thursday coverage.
Qualifications
  • Minimum one year of retail pharmacy experience (preferred: three years in other pharmacy roles).
  • Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy from an ACPE‑certified school or Pharm.

    D. (required).
  • Completed ASHP Community Pharmacy Practice or Specialty Residency (preferred).
  • Active Wisconsin pharmacist license required or eligible (must obtain within three months).
  • Active member of the Pharmacy Society of Wisconsin (preferred).
  • Preferred memberships: ASHP, APhA, or other national pharmacy organizations.
  • Proficient in MS Word, Excel, Outlook; strong organizational, time‑management, leadership, conflict, and change management skills.
