Epicor CMS Business Analyst

Requirements

• Bachelors degree in Data Analytics or a related field preferred
• Strong, hands‑on experience with Epicor CMS software
• In-depth knowledge of manufacturing processes, including production planning, inventory control, and supply chain management
• Background in the automotive manufacturing industry preferred
• Familiarity with key Epicor modules:
  Financial Management, Production Control, Planning and Scheduling, Supply Chain Management, Quality Assurance and Compliance, and EDI
• Experience engaging with stakeholders from diverse departments
• Proficient in business process modeling techniques
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving capabilities
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Experience with data analysis to support strategic decision‑making
• Reporting experience, including developing custom dashboards using SQL or SSRS
• Knowledge of query tools for data extraction and troubleshooting
• Familiarity with the ERP implementation lifecycle, including testing and training
• Hands‑on experience with Epicor configuration and system maintenance
• Experience in project management, particularly in implementation or upgrade projects
• Understanding of system integrations and database connections, including ODBC

• Collaborate with users across various departments to gather requirements and understand their needs
• Document and model current business workflows while designing enhancements
• Troubleshoot system issues, identify root causes, and formulate effective solutions
• Translate business requirements into functional specifications for technical teams
• Conduct data analyses to identify trends and generate business insights
• Develop and write reports, as well as create custom dashboards for data visualization
• Utilize query tools for extracting data and addressing issues
• Participate in or lead ERP implementations or migration projects
• Configure Epicor systems to align with business needs
• Manage and execute project tasks related to software enhancements
• Ensure effective integration of systems, especially those utilized on the shop floor or for EDI
• Design and test labeling changes and create new labels as required
