Job Summary
Responsible for placing purchase orders of approved supplies, equipment, and services for Froedtert Health. Resolves order related issues for internal customers. Performs purchase order follow up activities with suppliers including order and delivery confirmations. Reconciles vendor invoice issues and shipping discrepancies. Processes customer and vendor returns. Develops relationships with internal customers and vendors. Other duties as assigned. Travel required.
Experience2 years of experience in supply chain is preferred.
EducationBachelor’s degree (completed within 12 months of hire) or equivalent combination of education and Supply Chain work experience may be substituted for formal education. Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration or a related field from an accredited university is preferred.
Special SkillsExcellent computer skills required, including Microsoft Word & Excel. Skilled ellent verbal and written skills. MMIS applications familiarity. Experience with the Lawson Materials Management System is preferred.
