The Vice President of Business Model Transformation & Strategy Activation is accountable for delivering Froedtert Theda Care Health’s most significant system transformations. This executive leads the enterprise transformation portfolio, ensuring strategies are translated into action through disciplined execution of major systemwide initiatives and the development of new business and operating models.
As a senior leader in the Transformation & Integration Office, the VP drives measurable results aligned with system success measures and key strategic objectives. This leader also serves as a trusted advisor to system executives, helping shape and accelerate transformation priorities, building champions, and telling the story of change in ways that connect enterprise goals to patient, team member, and community impact.
The role partners with clinical, operational, and regional leaders to ensure business model transformation is effectively aligned across the enterprise.
Job Responsibilities:
- Lead execution of enterprise strategic initiatives, translating system priorities into clear roadmaps with accountable owners, milestones, and outcomes.
- Ensure successful delivery of large-scale enterprise programs and systemwide initiatives that enable business model transformation and organizational effectiveness.
- Advance new business and operating models (e.g., access, digital front door, infrastructure modernization) aligned with Destination 2030.
- Serve as a senior advisor to enterprise leaders, shaping transformation priorities, anticipating challenges, and ensuring initiatives deliver intended impact
Change Leadership & Storytelling:
- Act as an enterprise change leader, building commitment and adoption of new ways of working.
- Create and deliver compelling narratives and Board-ready communications that demonstrate transformation progress and impact.
- Partner with Marketing & Communications to ensure consistent storytelling and engagement around transformation priorities.
- Inspire belief in the enterprise transformation agenda by connecting strategy to daily work and long-term community impact.
Transformation Portfolio & Benefit Realization:
- Oversee the enterprise transformation portfolio, ensuring initiatives are prioritized, sequenced, and resourced effectively.
- Provide transparent reporting to the ELT and Board on initiative progress, risks, and measurable outcomes.
- Ensure transformation initiatives deliver demonstrable business value, including financial performance, operational efficiency, and patient/community impact.
- Align portfolio governance with finance, workforce, and operations to ensure sustainability.
Governance, Innovation & Capability Building:
- Partner with leaders across the system to test, refine, and scale new business models that enable sustainable delivery of care and improved affordability.
- Monitor emerging industry trends and innovations, incorporating external insights into FTCH’s transformation agenda.
- Establish governance forums to oversee transformation initiatives and hold leaders accountable for results.
- Develop tools, playbooks, and processes for disciplined transformation delivery, while mentoring leaders to strengthen systemwide execution capability.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in health care administration, business administration or a related field.
- Senior leadership experience in large integrated delivery networks or national professional services firms.
- 10+ years in transformation, program delivery, innovation, or health care management consulting.
- Proven track record of leading enterprise-wide transformation programs (ERP, technology platforms, or equivalent) and delivering measurable results.
- Expertise in leading large-scale organizational change, including culture, adoption, and stakeholder engagement.
- Strong executive communication skills, with the ability to craft and deliver compelling transformation narratives to the Board, ELT, team members, and external stakeholders.
- Deep knowledge of health care operations, business model innovation, program management, and change leadership.
- Strong financial acumen with ability to link transformation outcomes to enterprise performance and sustainability.
- Skilled communicator with credibility at the Board, ELT, and frontline levels.
- Demonstrated ability to influence, negotiate, and partner across clinical, operational, corporate, and functional areas.
