Bookbinder/Saddle Stitch Operator - 1st Shift *$5k Sign-On Bonus*

Arandell seeks a skilled Bookbinder to join our production team. This role is a first shift (Mon‑Fri 7 AM‑3 PM) and includes a sign‑on bonus.

Base pay range: $27.25/hr – $30.00/hr (based on experience)

• Set up and control the assigned machine for each job specified.
• Maintain machines’ regular maintenance, keeping them ready to run product and keeping a clean and neat work area.
• Check and control the quality of product on a running basis.
• Manage and direct technicians to use the proper material to maintain high productivity.
• Run the machine at optimal production speeds according to goals set by the Bindery Manager or Supervisor.
• Seek assistance when necessary to solve setup and running problems that may be slowing production.
• Provide feedback to management and supervision when slowdowns or issues occur on machines.
• Participate in regular evaluations of technicians as needed.
• Perform all special duties assigned by the Bindery Manager and/or Supervisor.
• Perform all duties safely and in accordance with all safety rules and requirements.
• Maintain a positive customer relations approach toward visitors, customers, and employees.
• Maintain a high level of confidentiality on all matters involving the Bindery Department and Arandell Corporation.

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience with stitching and/or bindery machinery.
• Ability to utilize logic and conceptual thinking skills.
• Strong mechanical aptitude.
• Effective and clear written and oral communication skills.
• Willingness to work weekends, overtime, or be responsive to manufacturing questions as needed.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, and Outlook.

• Frequent sitting.
• Frequent use of hands to type, finger, handle, grasp or touch objects and tools.
• Frequently required to talk or listen.
• Occasional standing, walking, climbing, kneeling, squatting, stooping, crouching, crawling, twisting, bending, reaching.
• Occasional lifting and/or moving up to 50 pounds.
• Specific vision abilities required: close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
