Responsibilities- Perform various production and service activities related to the setup and operation of the coating line by following written procedures and instructions.
- Perform and document all necessary testing of raw materials.
- Communicate production issues to the Extrusion Coating Operator.
- Communicate quality‑related decisions for the next operation using defective material identification and flagging systems.
- Enter time and quantity information into the computer system.
- Move raw materials and finished products as needed.
- Provide essential communication during shift change.
- Perform required preventative maintenance and housekeeping.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Web handling fundamentals.
- Beginner level computer skills.
- High school math skills.
- Must be able to read standard ruler measurements.
- The ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- English language verbal and written communication skills.
- Demonstrate the ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Demonstrate basic mechanical aptitude and problem‑solving abilities.
- The ability to multi‑task and work efficiently with team members.
- Frequent standing, walking, sitting, and use of hands for handling tools and equipment.
- Ability to lift and move objects over 50 pounds.
- Specific vision abilities required, including close vision and ability to adjust focus.
