Flat Cutter / Offline Finishing Operator 1st Shift (7AM-3PM)

Join the Arandell team as an Offline Finishing Operator and become a part of our legacy of excellence that spans over 100 years. You'll be the expert behind the machine, transforming printed sheets into beautiful, finished products. You'll be responsible for setting up and operating state‑of‑the‑art equipment to automatically fold, slit, and score sheets for binding. You’ll ensure every order is perfect by accurately loading paper, performing quality checks, and precisely cutting and staging finished work.

You'll also adjust the machine mid‑run and perform minor maintenance to keep production running smoothly.

This is a 1st shift role from Monday through Friday 7AM - 3PM. The pay rate is: $22.00 per hour.

• Set up and operate cutting/folding machinery.
• Examine work order to determine and perform setup specifications.
• Monitor and maintain quality by following company SOPs.
• Communicate effectively with supervisor, finishing operators, material handlers, and co‑workers.
• Provide oversight, direction, and training to general workers or temporary staff assigned to assist in the folding area.
• Perform routine preventative maintenance and production adjustments of equipment as needed.
• Clean and maintain the work area.
• Perform other bindery and related functions as needed.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous Finishing Operator experience including ability to set up and operate bindery.
• Knowledge of cutting, mailing, and folding is highly desired.
• Mechanical aptitude and problem‑solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong math skills and knowledge.

• Frequent sitting.
• Frequent use of hands to type, finger, handle, grasp or touch objects and tools.
• Frequently required to talk or listen.
• Occasional standing, walking, climbing, kneeling, squatting, stooping, crouching, crawling, twisting, bending, reaching.
• Occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
• Specific vision abilities required: close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
