ENGAGEMENT CENTER TRIAGE RN
Location: Menomonee Falls, WI – WOODLAND PRIME 400 facility (remote).

Shift: Shift 1 (includes holidays and weekends)
The Nurse Triage Registered Nurse is a practitioner responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating care for patients within the Froedtert and MCW Patient Engagement Center. Key duties include telephone triage, patient education, managing test results, coordinating patient care needs, medication refills, and other clinical tasks as assigned. Friendly, customer‑focused communication creates an exceptional patient experience, supporting patient preference and loyalty to Froedtert & The Medical College of Wisconsin.
Responsibilities• Conduct telephone triage and evaluate patients for appropriate care pathways.
• Provide patient and family education regarding health conditions and follow‑up care.
• Manage test results and coordinate communication with clinical teams.
• Conduct medication refills and other clinical tasks as directed.
• Mentor and collaborate with colleagues on job tasks and workflow optimization.
• Demonstrate strong proactive organizational and multitasking skills, with exceptional customer‑service abilities.
Two years of clinical experience required; one year of RN experience or nursing‑student clinical rotation may be considered. Preferably three to five years of clinical nursing experience in an applicable specialty.
EducationRegistered Nurse licensure obtained through completion of an accredited School of Nursing. A Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing is preferred.
TrainingPreferred proficiency with Epic Nurse Triage Software and call‑center technology.
Special Skills• Expert communication skills (oral and written)
• Ability to multi‑task and mentor peers
• Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
• Knowledge of medical terminology and Epic system
Current Wisconsin RN license or multi‑state nursing license under the Nurse Licensure Compact. American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider (BLS) or equivalent required within 90 days of hire.
Compensation, Benefits & PerksHourly pay range: $29.70 – $46.04, based on experience. Discussed during interview.
