Eligible for Sign‑on Bonus

Location: United States, Wisconsin – Menomonee Falls, Froedtert Menomonee Falls Hospital facility.

Job Type: Full‑time, 0.6 FTE, On‑site, Shift 1.

Weekend Program: 2 12‑hour shifts (0700‑1930 Saturday & Sunday). Float between Froedtert Menomonee Falls and Froedtert West Bend Hospital.

Job Summary

The Registered Nurse is a practitioner who is responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care for an identified group of patients. This individual demonstrates competency in delivery of care to a primarily adult population in the acute care setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess and plan nursing care for adult acute care patients.
  • Implement evidence‑based nursing interventions.
  • Evaluate patient outcomes and modify care plans as needed.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members.
  • Document care in accordance with hospital policies and regulations.
Experience & Requirements
  • Minimum 12 months recent inpatient hospital nursing experience preferred.
  • Professional knowledge of nursing theory and practice at an accredited nursing school.
  • Upon hire, any non‑BSN nurse with less than one year of licensed RN experience will be required to enroll in a BSN (or higher nursing degree) program.
Education

Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred. Non‑BSN must enroll in a BSN (or higher nursing degree) program within 15 months of hire, complete within 5 years of enrollment (or 6 years for MSN, DNP, or PhD).

Licensure & Certifications

Current Wisconsin Registered Nurse License or a Multi‑state Nursing License from a participating state in the NLC. American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider (BLS) or an AHA approved equivalent required within 90 days of hire.
